Young Ocean Advocates’ Projects for Ocean Literacy

Did you know that International Youth Day (IYD ) was celebrated on 12 August? This year, the theme was ‘Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World’. In order to smoothly transform our society into a sustainable world, the development of green skills  among the population is essential. The shift towards an environmentally sustainable and climate-friendly world is critical not only for responding to the global climate crisis but also for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs ). The dynamism of youth initiatives for sustainable development can be seen across the world. An example of this is the dedication of members of the Youth4Ocean Forum in actively building a better future.
