This summer data harvest is very heterogeneous in data content, with a temporal coverage ranging from 1880 until 2020 spread across the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, the Mediterranean, Baltic and North Seas.

In terms of taxonomy and functional groups we published occurrence records ranging from Phytoplankton to Mammals, including Reptiles, Macroalgae and Angiosperms among others. These occurrence records have been collected using several techniques such as acoustic and satellite telemetry, aerial sightings, and traditional data collections together with the collection of biodiversity occurrence related data such as sampling methodologies and sampling effort, environmental variables, abundances, life stages, sex and biometric data.
